Chernobyl

The hybrid Chernobyl strain produced by TGA Genetics in California, created by Subcool, one of the co-founders of the company, in 2007. The  strain is the product of crossing a male Jack the Ripper with a cut known as Bloodwreck, which results from breeding a male Trainwreck and a female Trinity. The female Bloodwreck, also known as the mother of Timewreck and Queen Anne’s Revenge, exhibited genetic stability, meaning it did not produce male stamen. Subcool believed that this quality made it compatible with the DNA of Jack the Ripper. Chornobyl was named High Times Strain of the Year in 2010, and according to TGA Genetics, it has a flavor reminiscent of lime Slurpee or sherbet and produces pleasantly calming medicinal effects.
